Transparency of Coverage Rule:

In 2020, the Department of Labor issued a regulation in regards to the Transparency of Coverage Rule. Among this transparency regulation, all non-grandfathered, group health plans must post and maintain their in and out-of-network provider costs on a publically accessible website file (in a JSON format).

The deadline has been extended until July 1, 2022.
