The Administration – Finance Department is located at 900 Haynes Street, Raleigh, NC  27604, and provides support services to RHA in the following areas:

Accounting Division

  • Accounting and general ledger for nearly 40 programs and grants
  • Section 8 – Vouchers
  • Section 8 – Moderate Rehabilitation
  • Development & Capital Fund Program

Other Accounting & Administrative Activities

  • Cash Management & Investments
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Accounts Payable
  • Budgeting (in excess of $50 million annually)
  • Compliance for Section Eight
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
  • Fixed Assets
  • Fund Requisitions
  • Internal Auditing
  • Payroll
  • Procurement
  • Information Technology Services
  • Personnel Services and Benefit Administration

 

Note:  The Raleigh Housing Authority has had no Financial Audit Findings for the past 34 consecutive years (as of August 2021) and has received 25 of 25 possible points on the Financial Assessment Sub-System under the Public Housing Assessment system (HUD’s Report Card for Public Housing Agencies) for the most recent fiscal year end.
